The Bible does not name Cain's wife. Based on the Genesis narrative, she must have been a descendant of Adam and Eve (a sister or niece) as they were the first and only human couple on earth at that time. Intermarriage was necessary for humanity to populate the earth.

Theologically, the Bible is considered the inspired Word of God, and therefore infallible (trustworthy) and authoritative for faith and practice. Historically, there is strong manuscript evidence and archeological support for its general historical claims.

The Bible teaches that upon physical death, the souls of believers go immediately to be with Christ (Heaven), while the souls of non-believers are separated from God awaiting final judgment (Hell). There will be a future bodily resurrection for all.

The Bible emphasizes salvation through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:16). It involves repenting of sin and trusting in Jesus' death and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins.

Most Protestant Bibles contain 66 books (39 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament). Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Bibles include additional books (known as the Apocrypha or Deuterocanonical Books).
