What is sin?

Sin is the transgression of God's law or the failure to conform to His character. It includes both actions and attitudes that fall short of God's perfect standard.

How can a person be saved (get to heaven)?

Salvation is a gift of God, received through grace by faith in Jesus Christ, not by works. It involves repenting of sin and believing in Christ's death and resurrection as the full payment for one's sin.

Why is there suffering and evil if God is good?

The Bible attributes suffering to the introduction of sin into the world through the disobedience of humanity (Adam and Eve). God allows it for a time, often to bring about a greater good, but promises to ultimately defeat evil and suffering in the new heaven and earth.

Who is Jesus Christ?

Jesus is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He is the prophesied Messiah who lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay the penalty for humanity's sins, and rose from the dead on the third day.

Who is God?

God is the eternal, all-powerful (omnipotent), all-knowing (omniscient), all-present (omnipresent), and perfectly good Creator of all things. He exists as one God in three Persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit (The Trinity)
